There is a lot to my story and maybe you can relate. The ride has been wild, filled with twists, turns, difficulties, and unexpected heartache. From divorced parents at a young age to dysfunction that followed me into adulthood, I’ve lived a lot of life and it's shaped me into who I am now. That may sound bleak but sitting here today I can tell you that I am more joy-filled, healed, and free than I’ve ever been in my entire life. If those words aren't how you'd describe your life today, come hang with me for a while and in time they will be.

Many of us experience a pivotal moment in our lives that becomes the catalyst for change. Something happens, whether it's a choice we make or one that is forced upon us, and we say "enough is enough". Things just aren't working and we are DONE! In front of us is a fork in the road and we then get to choose which way we are going to go.

This happened for me in 2015, after my second divorce. I decided I was going to get emotionally healthy no matter what it took. I had found Jesus just 5 years earlier, and I knew there was no going back to the way I had lived before He changed my heart. I had no idea how I would move forward, or how to do this life of singleness with Jesus at the center but I was determined to figure out what had me in a place of such brokenness over and over again, so I could experience a different outcome.

Nine years later, here I am… doing it! Jesus has continued to change my heart and renew my mind. The things that once crippled me like loneliness, unworthiness, and rejection no longer dictate my every decision. I won’t lie and tell you the road has been easy-it’s required a lot of perseverance and trust in God but I can tell you that there’s nothing like being on the other side. Knowing your identity and being able to be YOU changes everything. I now have the confidence to run a successful business, called Light to Launch, where I get to use the administrative gifts God has given me to help Visionaries bring their dreams to life.

Being free from your past trauma will give you an outlook on life like you never thought possible. There is nothing like waking up and being able to see the world from a completely different vantage point, one that gives you peace, hope, and an expectancy for good to come your way.

This life God has blessed me with through His love and healing, isn’t something I can keep to myself.
